The Subheading block (identified as Subtitle in the theme block catalog) is a refined typographic element used to provide editorial context, category branding, or drop exclusivity tags.
In a sneaker boutique or footwear brand store, the Subheading is commonly placed directly above a main Title block as an “eyebrow kicker” (e.g., “VAULT RESTOCK” or “LIMITED TO 500 PAIRS”) or beneath a title to elaborate on a capsule collaboration.
Because Sneax is built on Shopify’s modular OS 2.0 block architecture, you can drag and drop this block anywhere within compatible sections (such as Banner, Slideshow, Video, Custom Section, or inside Group and Column containers) and position it freely relative to other blocks.
Accessing the Subheading Block Settings #
- In your Shopify Theme Editor, open any template containing a compatible section.
- In the left-hand sidebar, locate the parent section or container block (e.g., Banner, Slide, or Group).
- Click (+) Add block and select Subtitle (or click an existing Subheading block).
- Customize the settings in the right-hand panel.
